この製品は、リトアニアとの国境に近いラトビアの弊社ピートボグから採取されたホワイトピートを無調整で製品化しています。
粒度は4種類あり、5-10㎜、10-20㎜、20-40㎜、5-20㎜ となります。
これまで、ホワイトピートから得られる無調整品では「Lithuanian Peat Moss (fine,medium,coarse)」をご提案してきていますが、今回登場した「Baltic Fractions」は、ホワイトピートのソッド（塊）のみで粒度を調整した製品のため、より高い粒度を感じる物理性とローコストを実現しています。
ただし、ソッドのみを用いた無調整品のため、水分率は弊社200L袋製品と比較して低い傾向にあり、出荷単位はすべてBigBales（ビックベール）になります。5-10㎜製品は1ベール6.5㎥、それ以外の3種は1ベール7.0㎥が基本です。
「Baltic Fractions」は日本の皆様のミックス培地の原料として、根域改良の有機素材として、その選択肢は更に広がるものと考えています。
